Saw in a previous post someone mentioned Museum of the Rockies in Bozeman. We did that too, excellent side-trip. We spent the day there, nice planetarium. Then we drove back down to West Yellowstone on 191. That remains my favorite drive of the trip. Mountains on both sides, very scenic. I still dream about that stretch of road.
In West Yellowstone, we went to the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center. Kinda like an orphanage for these animals. They have a 1000lb. grizzly there. We love wolves so this was a treat since we didn't get to see any in Yellowstone.
