Trip report: Boondocking in the Eastern Sierra

Thanks for all of the kind comments! We would never have attempted back-country boondocking without the advice and encouragement of the folks on this forum. It has now become our preferred way to camp.

98coachman, I have a foolproof way of avoiding overuse of the grease gun -- my wife watches me, and when I start to exert too much pressure on the trigger (and start to grunt and groan), she stops me before I do any damage.

So far, so good . . . .

And major congratulations on acquiring a grease gun!

Great pictures and report once again!! Be careful with the grease gun, it can push grease past the seal and into the brakes making them useless.
