Trip report: Southern Utah

A few years have passed since the picture was taken so not sure just where we were.
But the truck was headed south to Page. And was south of Grosvenor Arch.
I asked the trucker why he did not turn around once he was on the dirt road. Said he thought he would get in trouble if his truck made any tracks off the road.
I had stopped to talk to another traveler with a kayak on top of his truck, that looked a little out of place.
Then the semi showed up and I scrambled to get my camera as I knew no one would believe me without a picture.
Driving by the next day I saw the trucker talking with the loader operator . They were just at the Cottonwood Canyon US89 junction. His truck was there as well.
