I have been reading your trip report with great interest as we visited a number of the places this year ourselves that you visited. Several others places we took our children to in 1989. It is fun to see a trip through someone elses eyes. I was sorry that our age prevented us from doing some of the hikes this year that you took as there are many interesting places off the beaten path. I chronicaled our trip in a blog.
