This is a little creepy, but good to hear from you friend! It is a small world. Last I remember, you had disappeared from AVS for a while? I miss my friends there. I only check that forum every few months now. Change of careers and long hours has me focused on all the wrong things. :)
The theater and basement have not gotten flooring or final counter tops. We may be knocking those out this Spring, but no promises. :) The boys were in the perfect "season of life" for us to channel our attentions to things like this for a bit. Having a good mix of indoor/outdoor hobbies...its a good thing!
Would you be new to camping? Or looking to get back into it? The trip reports on this forum will surely motivate you into it! This trip was one of the best times of my life from all sorts of perspectives. IMO, you can't go wrong by jumping in. I'd be glad to offer any thoughts if you have questions.
We've camped only once since the trip. Everyone needed a purge after such a long adventure. But we're already looking at our bookings for next Summer.
