Thanks everyone for the kind comments. It is a pleasure to share the trip with you all. It is much more than showing off. Sharing a journey is a real part of the pleasure in taking it. What good would our early explorers have done if they never wrote or reported back on where they had been? Yes, it is a stretch, but I like to stay in my false universe that equates me to Ponce de Leon or Lewis and Clarke. :)
jm, we stayed at Gunsmoke too! Really nice place, but it had the "RV park stiffness" that we don't particularly care for. But it was just an overnighter and a safe place. That's all that mattered at that point.
