Tucson AZ fuel price for the Snowbirds

Up I-10 from Tucson in the Casa Grande area diesel is $2.17 @ Fry's right now...think it was a little higher last winter (2016-2017.

In the previous winter (2015-2016) I remember buying diesel @ Fry's in the $1.60's and with a .30 cent a gallon discount for buying food in Fry's...nice!

At our home base in Reno right now Smith's (another Kroger store) has diesel is $2.63....not nice! If I remember right it was that same price when we left last November for Eloy, AZ.

Go figure!!

Yes, and the great thing about the points is even alcohol purchases count in Arizona! But when the snowbirds start to return, guaranteed the prices will increase.
