We have stayed there several times, great park with loads of room for the RV. Like the casino for shows, and slots. Only negative point is : If you have a dog, the geese are everywhere. Messy critters.!!!

Thank you for the opinions/suggestions. We too passed the area about four years ago heading to Assoc Island too. I agree, there were a number of great places to visit near Assoc Island and that's one of the reasons we are thinking Turning Stone. We see the lake is about a half hour away. We are looking at the back in sites in the 300 range near the two ponds but cant find any site photos. We appreciate all your comments!!

It is a very nice campground I equate it to a miniature version of Fort Wilderness. It is clean, quiet, and nice sites. We stopped there on our way to Association Island on Lake Ontario/Henderson Harbor to visit the Alexandria Bay area, Boldt and Singer Castles.

If you run out of things to do; I think I remember a casino around there somewhere!

I don't remember anything about the campground that we were disappointed with. They have a nice stocked bass pond, bring a pole & line. Oneida Lake is worth a day trip. Cooperstown is about 45 minutes away. Have fun!

We have been there several times. We just take the site they give us and haven't got a bad one. It is kept very clean.
