We camped at Many Glacier the first few days of June 2010. We had rain showers when we were there so only the hiked to Red Rock Lake, which started right at the campground. No issues with snow. GTTS road wasn't yet open, but we did drive the RV as far in as allowed - to Rising Sun, then hiked a trail along St. Mary Lake to Sunrift Gorge.
At Many Glacier we saw many Mountain Goats and Bighorn sheep grazing on the mountain sides.
