TX coastal state parks...repair status re. hurricane damage?

At least two of the Texas state parks on the Gulf Coast (Goose Island SP and Mustang Island SP) are still showing, on the website, as completely (Mustang) or partially (Goose Island--beach sites only) shut down for overnight camping pending repairs necessitated by Hurricane Harvey...

Does anyone have information about repair efforts / status / est. date of return to operation? Probably no use calling the parks' staff, as I'm sure it would just be a non-informative or, at least, a non-committal response.

thanks
  • Got this information from Corpusfishing.com website.

    from yesterday MISP facebook:

    >>We will be closing the jetty road today for some road maintenance. The south beach access road is open for day use. We are using the excess sand to create an ADA accessible walkway from the parking lot to the day use beach which should prevent that parking lot from tidal flooding. Once the sand is built up we will install a mobi mat to improve wheelchair access. ***the latest report for camping and bathhouse completion is May. We are just as eager to return to normal operation as you are. Please be patient with us, we're at the mercy of the contractors.<<
