Bill Frederick Park at Turkey Lake is a city park in Orlando about 10 minutes from Universal. We stayed there this summer and visited Universal. It's a small campground within the city park and the park is gated and locked at night, they give you the code when you check in to open the gate when you come home in the evening. It was $23 a night with sewer and $19 a night without but they only have a few sewer sites and if you decide to stay there I would call early. It's not much on thrills no cable but plenty of over the air television channels which didn't really matter since we weren't in the park very much anyway.
