Upper Peninsula St Fairgrounds, Escanaba, MI

Question

Anyone stayed there? We didn't plan well and are looking at spending Memorial Day weekend there to explore the area. Can't find any reviews on rvparkreviews, yelp or tripadvisor. I found one picture on the website of the entrance to the campground but really no other info. Are the sites gravel, grass or ??

Did not camp there, but drove by.  Looks very nice.  There is a casino about 10 mile West that has an OUTSTANDING campground.  Good rates and a very well designed facility.

Indian Lake State Park has sites w/electric available. It's about 50 miles away from Escanaba, it's on a lake, and it's conveniently located for exploring.

We stayed at Indian Lake. Loved it. Kids' favorite? Local Pizza Hut delivered to our site. Go figure.Pretty area.
