Headed south for Jan-Mar this winter for the 1st time, how does one work out doing your taxes when you are on the road? Will be traveling every week or so as opposed to sitting in one campground for the winter. I will be home in time to do them in April, but not by much.

I do my own using Turbo Tax. . Have my mail sent to me wherever I am. Others go home just before tax time. You can always get an extension easily enough.

Not sure what your question is. Are you concerned about receiving mail for tax documents? Access to tax software?

H&R block. They can do taxes for your federal and your state too, wherever you are at. You'll need to make an appointment and let them know you need taxes done for a different state, but they can do it!

With Turbo Tax, you can usually have them file your return electronically if you travel with a laptop and can get internet access.

I have done so many times.

Turbotax or Tax Act - have done them online 5 years with no problems. You should have electronic access to most documents that you would need.

Forms such as w-2 and 1099 can be scanned and emailed to you. In fact most can be downloaded off the net. Any good tax software will e-file for you

Turbotax. If you cannot avoid paper (bummer), you can file an extension online. Then do them before October.

Just got my 2016 TURBOTAX disc in the mail a couple of days ago. I am signed up to get these automatically each year.

All is done on-line using their disc but I always work from a USB Thumb drive with my personal info...
