Utah Itinerary

Would like to run this by anyone who knows the state, I don't.

By reading here and looking around online I've come up with the following for an 8 week trip Sept through Nov 15. Take away 2 weeks for travel from MA to UT.

In Order. These are all full days in the park.

7 days at RMNP, a few days east side, a few on the west side.
3 days at Mesa Verde
1 day Monument Valley (stay in Gooseneck SP 2 nights)
7 days in Kodachrome (been there before)
4 days Great Basin
4 days Capital Reef
3 days Dead horse SP
3 days Arches

Is Great Basin worth the drive from Kodachrome?
Any glaring oversights? been to Grand Canyon, Zion, Bryce, and Kodachrome.

I had planned on staying at Gooseneck for 2 nights while I went to Monument Valley, sounded better then Gouldings. With the additional places to see listed above using it as a base camp for a couple extra days may be worth it. I pull a small 20' fifth wheel, not knowing the roads I have no idea where it's impractical to go with it in tow, especially after seeing the pictures of Moki Dugway. Keep in mind that compared to you locals, I'm a flat lander.

that one photo of the dugway showed a class C going down. I came up in my toad and half way up started wishing I hadn't. I hugged the rock walls on that trip.

I recommend seeing Mesa Arch in the canyonlands.
