Tunnel Question. No problem with tunnel with my 35' 5er at 13'1" height. You pay for a round trip ticket and they close the tunnel for 2 way traffic so you can drive in the middle of the road where clearance is fine.

Q. What are the size limits for an oversized vehicle?
A. Any vehicle that is 11 feet 4 inches high or higher and 7 feet 10 inches wide or wider needs the one-way traffic control service. Any vehicle 13 feet high or higher cannot pass through the tunnel.
Length restrictions are 40 feet for a single vehicle and 50 feet for any vehicle combination.
This information is also listed on the back page of the Park Newspaper. Visitors must pay for the one-way traffic control service at the entrance stations - not at the tunnel.
If I get what you are stating, you are saying you went through the tunnel with your listed 5er. But, you actually are exceeding what they state as max height and some might not realize that combined, they are over the 50' limit.
My truck/TT combo is at 53'. That is a 1-ton CC LB truck with a model 26BHS TT (TT point to bumper = 30.5'). I do get that a 5er length and truck combo is not both added together because of the 5th hitch overlap, but some on this site should not assume they are good because someone else pointed out what they did. :)
