I'll be happy to pay whatever fees having to do with camping where I choose to camp. If I'm on a budget, then I'll plan for that. If I was worried about every last dollar spent on my camping trips, I would have bought a moped instead. As stated, its about increasing revenue, and I'm sure you will be stepping in as much poop in VA parks as you ever did before.
So big deal, they took away the dog fee. The person above is still going to pay 15 more dollars for a 5 day stay because $5 x 3 dogs = $15 as well as 3 dollars more a night X 5 = $15 as well. If you stay longer, than you are going to pay even more. If VA state parks were on your Do Not Go To list, why would you even consider taking them off of it? :h
