Camping at a va state park could cost you over $35 a night if you had a dog. As oak level mentioned, you could easily go somewhere with full hookups, cable tv, swimming pool, wifi and etc for the same price.
Them charging extra for the dogs was a way to just make more money. Hey didn't care about there being dogs there or not. They used some complaints as a way to make more money.
Glad to hear they have changed it. I thought I had read that the camping fees would be a little higher, which is what they should of just done in the first place.
