I stay just south of Frostproof in the Sebring/Avon Park area. Usually, we're in the 70's during the day, this year being the exception. Although, I only had to cover my tomatoes, once this year. If you don't need close beach access, you may want to check-out that area. Our over 55 park (Lake Letta RV Park) doesn't have a lot of "amenities" but it's reasonably priced. There are a lot of parks in the area, not all of them are on RVParkreviews.com.
A lot of the parks fill-up during the season, (ours did this year) so it would be good to make some reservations.
