Last time we stayed in florida for the winter, we were in Bradenton, at Encore. It was soooooo cold, windy and rainy I got frustrated and checked on the internet to find a warm place to go. Closest WARM location??? Puerto Rico!!! Since I couldn't drive there, I decided to stay where we were and freeze. Haven't been back to florida since!!! Hope you have better luck.
