Several years ago we stayed for three months at Crystal Lake Village in Wachula, Florida. It is in central Florida about 20 miles or so West of Sebring. We found the park to be very clean, fairly new, friendly, with lots of activities and reasonable rates ($415/month + electric). The cost was very reasonable compared to many parks in that area. Don't know what the rate is now.
It is a mix of park models and RV sites - all paved with full hook up. There is free WiFi in the activity center but not at the individual sites. There is a beautiful, large, heated pool and hot tub, nice suffleboard and bocci ball courts and other clean well kept amenities along with nice workout facilities and equipment.
It is in an area full of orange trees with not too much traffic so getting around was easy. There are several decent eating places in the area, along with three large supermarkets and the usual stores etc in a small town.
The weather is usually very nice in central Florida as you are South of a line between Tampa and Orlando. We have spent the past 11 years in the Tampa area and, despite an occasional cold spell (not below freezing) that lasts for a day or two, the temps have been very comfortable.
Hope this helps. Enjoy your winter stay!
