Sounds like "Vera's Kitchen." We stopped there first in the little white frame house and got acquainted with Vera. Then several times out on the highway at the new building. Same good food, but lost a lot of the "charm" of the old place. Got to visit with Vera many times. Sorry to hear it's gone (if I'm right about the one you mean.)
We did not have a dog, and most of the time were not staying in an RV park--in fact I think we were usually in an automobile. So, we can't help about the vet. We did use a kennel in Durango when we rode the Durango/Silverton train.
