Waco TX Rv park?

We are going to visit the Magnolia Silo next week, and the weather has closed several campgrounds. Anyone know a good place for one night in a 5er.
Thanks, Gary
  • Our favorite park in the Waco area is the COE park at Airport Park - but the rains this past week have closed it again. It might reopen soon. It also appears Midway is temporarily closed. Speegleville appears to be open.

You probably need to check with the project office before planning to stay at a COE park on Waco Lake - Waco Main Page

A traditionally popular park near Waco is I-35 RV Parkjust of I-35 in Elm Mott a few miles north of Waco. Several friends have stayed there and have good experiences.

Some have stayed at RiverviewRiverview and others at Flat Creek Farms
  • Get to Magnolia early, or be prepared to stand in line to get in. When our church group went a while back, we got there late morning on a weekday. It was about a 30-45 minute wait in line, just to get in the place. Nice place to visit, but if the Texas heat starts building it will be a miserable wait outside.

  • Thanks for the advice, my wife just booked one at Midway. We are going early to Magnolia, so I hope there is not a long wait.
