Walmart 'originally' offered their parking lots to RV'ers for emergency purposes. Inclement or unsafe weather conditions on the road, breakdown, etc. A safe place to pull a big rig off the road, temporarily.
Responsible RV'ers used it for just that when NECESSARY.
It was the onset of RV'ers that choose to use it as a camping 'destination' to avoid CG fees.........is what has prompted many Walmarts to ban overnight parking.
THEY and they alone are to blame for complete overnight bans at most of Walmarts across the country. Thanks. :(
