WASHINGTON STATE PARKS
Looking at camping in some Washington State parks along the coast in July. $8 reservation fee + $5 out of stater fee + $30-$40 camping fee looks like $43--$53 per night. Am I reading this right? Seem...

Dosewallips State park in June, full hook-ups 4 nites and made Jan 17.3 out of 20 full h/u sites left. $45 a nite and a $6.50 res fee.
Fort Worden SP lower campground 7 nites over 4th of July. Full h/u for 7 nites $35 a nite and don't know what the res fee was. Made res on the 6th of July 2014 for the 2nd of July 2015. 4 sites left in lower and 0 in upper. 1 hour later,all gone.
Crow Butte county park,Paterson Wa fpr the Horse Heaven hills wine tasting trail ride July 18th. 4 nites,full h/u , $27 a nite inc res fee. Made res 10/13/2014 for July 16 and got last 2 sites.
You really can't talk about Washington state parks and compare them to NP,NFS or corp of engineer parks cuz that's apples and oranges. Most state parks have w/e or full h/u at most sites and most are large enuff for large rigs. Try getting most of our rigs in the other public run parks and in my experience, once you get out of the PNW, the state parks are not evenboon dock standards and you have to stay at Private parks to get decent sites.
