Water near Mammoth/Glass Creek
Looking for any place on the eastern side of the Sierra's I can get water while on the way to Glass Creek area. I will be coming in from the North around Topaz lake.

Glass Creek is open, according to the Inyo NF page:

Also, the OP is coming from the north, so filling with water at the RV park in Mammoth would require a down and back trip. As another suggested, try Mono Vista in Lee Vining.
