I have reservations for Sept 15 - 24 in Yellowstone at Fishing Bridge and Madison campgrounds. Does anyone have any personal experience with the weather at that time of the year in these locations. ...

We spent ten days in YNP in mid-October a few years ago -- no snow, but quite chilly -- so cool that a lot of steam was coming from Mammoth Hot Springs:
I would not hesitate to go -- no bugs, fewer crowds, fall colors. Just keep an eye on the weather.
