wedding in the Bronx NY
Going to a wedding in the Bronx NY June 20 -21, on the way to Johnson city NY for a graduation June 29 anybody know of a stop within 30 miles of the Bronx

if you are brining a toad...I would say Interlake in Rhinebeck (10 min from my house) You could then take the toad to the Poughkeepsie train station and Metro North RR to the Bronx. Or if you want to drive to the Bronx the campground is 5 min from the Taconic State Parkway which if you go south merges into the Bronx River Parkway. You will be about 1:15 min travel time. Your best bet with an rv. I would avoid Liberty myself.
Also if you could stay an extra day or two there are great sites to see...FDR home and library...Vanderbilt Estate on the river and the Culinary institute of America...all in Hyde Park about 20 min from the campground...and if you are there on sat or sunday the Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome...largest collection of flying WWI and earlier planes and a museum.
