Your best bet would be Croton Point Park. Its run by Westchester County and located about 30 miles north of The Bronx. This is a highly rated park that is quiet and peaceful (google "Croton Point Park"). Full hookups and close to the train station if you want to train it to the city. Pretty much a straight shot if your driving as well. Just don't get caught in the weekday rush hour, mornings to the city and evenings from the city.
I grew up in Westchester County, just north of the Bronx. This is the closest CG to the Bronx. Liberty Harbor is on the wrong end of the city to conveniently get to the Bronx.
