Around here, there are still lots of boondockers. In fact some people have probably made the move to boondocking simply because the cost of SP and NFS CG's has gotten pretty high for some people.
For us, we often boondock when camping locally, but when on a longer trip, we usually stay in NFS, NPS, or SP CG's. And I get extra points with Allison when we're in a CG with flush toilets! The only time we end up with hookups is when that's the only option at the CG we've picked to stay in. But for short weekend trips from home, we'll still drag out the tent for a quick get-away.
