Several years ago I forgot my CDL driver license needed to be renewed in Jan. Found out I could get the eye exam done at a AZ DMV office & mail it back to AR (where we lived at that time) & they would issue a regular driver license. Much cheaper to give up my CDL than to fly back to AR to renew the license.
