Yorktown, Colonial Williamsburg and Historic Jamestowne make up the historic triangle and you can buy a ticket for all three at any of the above. They're linked together by the Colonial Parkway. Jamestown Settlement is worth a visit as well but is owned by the State of Virginia and requires a separate entrance fee. It's a a re-creation. Historic Jamestowne is an archeology site and the actual site of the first landing. I found it fascinating but kids would probably find it boring.
