50% of our camping has always been boondocking (not to be confused with camping in a parking lot as that's not camping.
0% of our time is spent in parking lots
About 30% of time is spent in public campgrounds (not to be confused with RV parks)
The last 20% is spent in RV parking lots, almost all of it either a quick overnight stop or long term for out winter snowbird trips. About half of our snowbird trips to south Texas have been spent boondocking on the beach or a select few beach front RV parks.
Prior to DWs untimely death, we spent about 8 months out of the year i the RV and since that day it's more like 30 days a year.
