I no longer feel safe. There is a lot of danger these days with many people looking for opportunities to pounce.
If anything, I'm more of a target at home, where I have a routine. I go to the same grocery store, check my mailbox at the same time, run errands and do my volunteer stuff around the same time of the week... I don't have those routines when I'm camping. I read. I fish. I hike. All on my own schedule. And if I don't like an area, I move on.
Yep exactly. And criminals of opportunity will have more opportunity in your "home area" then out in the middle of nowhere.
