I'm already thinking we need to try to squeeze in a few more trips for the year, most likely they'll be local. Our vacation time is limited and we do have 2 non-camper trips for the year already. Port Huron, MI. KOABurt Lake State Park, MI.Silver Lake Sand Dunes, MI. Columbus, OH for the kids to visit COSI and the zoo.Badlands/Black Hills (Custer State Park), Wisconsin Dells.What are your plans for the upcoming year?

We are planning on exploring Wyoming and Colorado next summer, with a diversion to Montana probably since our son plans on going to school in Bozeman.

That we know of: One park in PA, two parks in VA, three parks in SC, one park in GA, and five parks in FL. That takes us through March, and then we'll decide where to go next.

For us it is Montana, trying to trace DH's great grandfather's footsteps. We know he was in Helena (have a picture and newspaper clippings) and the Virginia City area. But the time before that and in between the time in VC and when he showed up in Salt Lake City are a big blank. Considering this was in the mid-1800s, we could be on a wild goose chase, but it should be fun.We will also make our annual trek to the Oregon Coast in September.
