- bobsallyhExplorer IIIf you are snow birding in So Cal or Arizona, why are you leaving for March? Many choices, Sin City area, Lake Mead Recreation Area, Death Valley and many more.
- TomG2ExplorerPeople race north out of the RGV (Rio Grande Valley of Texas) in March, leaving behind the best weather of the year, many festivals designed to keep them here, smaller crowds with less trffic, just so they can get back to wet cold weather in the North. I spend those two months enjoying the South land.

- path1ExplorerHard to out guess weather...
Couple years ago, stay'd south of Sacramento area or southern central CA. Year before that... southern Oregon between coast and Medford. This year is great weather in Puget sound (so far).
Chasing 70 degree weather is work sometimes. But somebody has to:) - rv2goExplorer IIIt would be nice to know where you will be staying prior to March and April. I would hate to suggest someplace 1000's of miles away.
- K_CharlesExplorerSpring break got us to stop going to SC beaches and we started going to the FL panhandlers. The last few years that started getting crowded too. This year we opened the pool early and went to the back yard. We've been out a few time since but we missed the 6 weeks in the south that make spring come early.
- happynowExplorerWe have been alternating northern FL for beach time and Southern UT for the National Parks. Stays fresh.
- DutchmenSportExplorerI'm not a snowbird, but for the last several years, we've traveled from Central Indiana to either the Florida panhandle or South Carolina the second week of March. We fell into the Spring Break trap in Florida during the second week in March and changed our strategy after 3 years of doing that. We discovered that State Parks in South Carolina are much more conducive to our type of camping, and in March, they are all open, and they are not crowded. And because this is typically Spring Break season, all the Spring Breakers are in Florida. No one does Spring Break in South Carolina, unless its along the ocean side. Go inland, and it's wonderful rest-and-relaxation!
