check out Garner State Park in Texas (google it). I stayed up there last winter and really enjoyed it. Big open sites and no neighbors during the winter. All the stuff you need (electric, water and sewage at each site). Plus tables and fire boxes (rings) along with bbq pits. Its a long drive for you though. I'm going again this winter. Plus there are many places to sight see. Its a bit hilly but not as bad as those up in the north west. Plus I had no problems traveling on their roads.
