where to drop trailer while visiting big cities

as we travel to large urban areas we would like to drop our trailer and use our truck to tour the area.
does anyone have a list of secure places one can drop a trailer for a day or two?
  • Be sure to draw up a contract saying if it's damaged or stolen, they are responsible for your loss. :h
  • X4 on a CG. Pay for the whole hook up site. At least it will be there when you get back. AND have a place to sleep that night IN your RV. :C

Leaving it alone in a store parking lot? Well, I guess that would work, if you don't care about the contents and or the whole trailer being gone when you get back.
  • It's one thing to drop a trailer for a few hours, it's quite another to drop a trailer for one or two days.

If you are going to be in an area for a day or two, find a good camp ground. That's what we did on our cross country trip in 2014. The only time we weren't in a camp ground is when we stopped over night at a Walmart just to get some sleep. And then, we never unhooked.
