Last Wednesday, June 27th, Denver hit a record temperature of 105. That same day, it was in the low to mid 80s in places like Grand Lake, Walden, Red Feather Lakes, Estes Park, Nederland, Ward...all in the Colorado Mountains, all above 7200 feet.
This past weekend, while it was in the 80s-90s at lower elevations along the plains of the Denver Metroplex, it was in the very pleasant 70s in Black Hawk/Central City, and a drive up to Rollinsville and the Moffat Tunnel, it was 53 at the tunnel.
