Just a FYI on this part... I was MTBing the following day at 9000' and it was 91 degrees at 4pm. Cloudy and still nice, no noticeable bugs but was surprised how warm it was. Was roughly the same temps at my house which sits at 8000'.
But fortunately, this is not the norm.
