I agree with David Bishop. Look at the Olympic Peninsula of Washington. We live at elevation 60 feet. Highs in the summer reach 80 about five times. Lows in the 40s most of the winter. Freezes every 3 or 4 years with 2" to 4" of snow. Seattle 1-1/2 hours by car/ferry. Haven't seen a mosquito in the 20 years we've lived here. 1/2 hour to the ferry to Victoria on Vancouver Island. We've lived all over the US and many parts of this old world--have NEVER found anyplace this moderate year round. Come visit and see for yourself! We live in Sequim ("Skwim").
