Many possibilities. That is our favorite time to camp. In 2016 we went to Yellowstone. This year went to Arizona and Texas. We stayed at Canyon Point Campground which is a Forest Service campground on Rt 260 about 15 miles west of Heber ,Arizona.Beautiful forest setting with electric hookups and new showers and bath house. Then we went to Texas and spent a few days at Hickory Creek Campground on Lewisville Lake. It's a COE Campground north of Ft Worth and has water and electric hookups. In 2017 we went to the Outer banks and stayed at Frisco Campgound which is a NPS campground. If you have the senior pass it's half price at any Federal campground. 20 years ago we stayed at Dead Horse Ranch State Park near Cottonwood ,Az. You are close to Tuzigoot,Jerome and Ft Verde.
