Where to stay in Myrtle Beach
We'll be traveling from New York down to Myrtle Beach around Easter time. The amount of seemingly terrific campgrounds is dizzying. Can anyone make any suggestions? Not sure if we need to be right ...

We've only stayed at Pirateland, but will be going to MBTP from now on.
The only time we go south is during Easter and we've been in the ocean every time, so it's not too cold to swim in the ocean.
I am a MBTP fan, but just wondering what you like more about it than Pirateland? We like the location better in North Myrtle
I found the oceanside sites look a little bigger, bathhouses look much better, and not a single golf cart seen when we did our drive-thru the last Easter we were there. Do not like the golf cart yahoos driving around with their radios blaring or kids that don't look old enough to drive a car driving them around. Add the fact that the ocean and pool are in close proximity and not a hike to one or the other.
That's what many of us Ocean Lakers love!

No, what we ocean lakers like is the golf carts with the yahoos driving with their radios blaring.
