- mockybirdExplorerWhen you don't get many vacation days, you learn to use long holiday weekends to be able to put more days camping together. Haven't had any bad experiences so far.
Thanks to all of those who have fought and died for us to be able to live like we can today. - kmbernsteinExplorerWe are staying home. Just returned from a 2 1/2 week trip. Will clean out the trailer and get ready for our next trip. We tend to do longer trips on the saddle seasons... April, May, September and October. Long weekend trips during the summer. Lots of fishing and hiking. We also try to avoid the long holiday weekends... Memorial Day, Labor Day, and, this year, the 4th of July. We have had too many bad experiences during those weekends. We finally decided it wasn't worth it.
- clikrf8ExplorerWe are staying home. Ranch Hand front replacement bumper finally arrived yesterday so it will be installed today. We will leave Tuesday for 3+ weeks wandering through eastern Oregon and Nevada down to North Rim Grand Canyon. We will hit our favorite off road places and try a few more off Highway 6 in Nevada. Wallowa Mountains in Oregon and the Palouse for photos then home over North Cascades Highway 20. Hoping Steens Mountain loop is open.

Gary, we are in site 66 - BBFDExplorerStaying home as I have been busy traveling for work and expanding my deck so need some quiet time. Have not even touched trailer since last fall so will bring it home Saturday and dewinterize/clean up in prep for a long vacation in two weeks to Moab.
- noe-placeExplorerDW's birthday is Saturday so we're partying at home. Maybe taking a run to the little town we moved to when we were first married to see how things have changed. Nice campgrounds in that part of Tennessee too so we may take the MH.

We haven't gone out on a holiday weekend in years but decided to take a chance this year with the crazies.
We are going to Cook Forest State Park in PA.
I have Cook booked later this summer. Never been before, have you?...
Yep, many times over the last 40 years.
Any "must see's" when we get there? I'm going mostly to see the trees and do some biking/relaxing. - beemerphile1Explorer
