Which campground in Custer State park?

Nobody mentioned Blue Bell! The horse stables are in walking distance - had a blast and saw bison from horseback - can't beat that! Game Lodge is more open/developed. Custer has been devastated by an invasive beetle that is killing off the trees, so some areas are a bit bare these days... Best way to find the large bison herds is on the wildlife loop drive - take the side roads into the heart of the park ask the rangers where to go - they track the herds daily.
