I carry enough extension cords, hoses and coax for any site including parking backwards for a better view. 30' on the sewer hose so never had a problem when parked in the right direction. If parked backwards then I know up front the limitations.
But those above ground sewer drains can be a health issue since spills are more likely. They should be below ground in a concave cement pad.
Another potential safety issue is locating the power pedestal near the water or sewer. Power and water on the ground don't mix well. And then there are the pedestals with NO CB...
