You will love Door County. Have not been there in years but used to live in Appleton, WI.
We are taking off a month for Palm Desert (found a place with reasonable rates and it looks very nice) and then to Anza Borrego State Park - great place.
Our 2 1/2 month summer fall trip will be head up to Oregon - main highlight being nearly a month on the Coast. It is a long haul from here (25 miles south of Tucson) and this might be our last venture doing it.
edsland, DW and I were born in Geneva - back when we were growing up Geneva and Naperville were in the same high school athletic conference - called the Little Seven --- my, how things have changed!
