The same question was very recently posted in General RVing Issues. Interesting destinations.
My answer:
2014: No reservations and a loose itinerary makes for an adventure.
February-March: Death Valley/Gold Butte/Lunar Crater/Toroweap/Valley of Fire 3+ weeks
April: Eastern Oregon 2 weeks
May/June: North Rim Grand Canyon/Monument Valley/Canyon de Chelly/Bisti Badlands/Southeaster UT-Northeastern AZ-Northwestern NM backroads/Glen Canyon NRA/Painted Desert-Petrified Forest/Coal Canyon 5 weeks
June: Northeast OR-Southeast WA (the Palouse and Wallawa Mts) 2 weeks
July/August: music festivals (Portland Waterfront Blues Festival, Winthrop Blues Festivals, East 542 Music Festival-classic rock & country, Mt. Baker Blues Festival, Skagit county- several fundraisers. I am a photographer at every one) 3-4 day weekends
September/October: Yellowstone/Tetons/Western WY/Eastern and Southern ID/Northern UT,Eastern OR 5 weeks
November-February 2015: local mid-week explorations like 2013
We combine exploration with photography, rockhounding, day hikes, checking out local history and culture.
Happy trails.
