Before the kids get out of school in late April or early May we'll dewinterized and make a couple of weekend trips in Ohio (Alum Creek and/or Salt Fork State Park) or similar...
Then we have reservations for a week at Disney's Fort Wilderness in early June. Still planning the trip down - probably looking to make it a three day trip with sleepovers at CGs in VA and SC on the way. On the way back we're still trying to decide on a route. We've thought about stopping someplace in the Smokys for a day or two on the return leg. In all it's going to be two full weeks out and we're really looking forward to our first "big" trip.
After that we'll most likely stay in Ohio for the rest of the season getting out on weekends whenever we can.
