ADD. I note the post from Lauren above and totally agree with the caution about taking the "Million Dollar Highway" between Durango and Ouray. We have made that drive many times, but have decided NOT to drive towing an RV. There are many who do so, but we have decided not to, even though I feel sure we could do it.
If you change that link in your itinerary, it would seem to cut out Ouray. Ouray has been a favorite of ours for years, and we stayed there in July, but the only reasonable route to include it in your stops would be to go up to Ouray through Telluride and then down to Durango on US 550.
Maybe you have already thought about all this, but I overlooked it until I read Lauren's post which came in while I was typing my original post.
