Looks like everyone has a good year planned out so far.
We sat down with our friends last weekend and got things a little more firmed up.
So far we have:
April-Smokies. Staying at Jellystone in Cosby, TN.
May- trip #1- local camp with tons of free stuff.
trip#2- Cuyahoga National Park. Staying at the KOA in Streetsboro
June- local cubscout family camping. We will be streamside.
July- trip#1-Wildernes SP on Lake Michigan then moving to Tahquamenon Falls SP on the river.
trip#2-Silver lake sand dunes on Lake Michigan
August- trip#1-Tawas Point state park on Lake Huron
trip #2-Jellystone in Indiana. This is really the place my kids are the most excited about.
If it wasn't for my work schedule of working every 3rd weekend, we'd be gone even more. I'd like to head out the Bruce Penninsula in Ontario, but we're out of vacation time and open weekends til next year!
Just found out that we will be missing my cousins wedding due to a trip....don't even really feel bad about it!:)
Can't wait to get started. This weekends forecast calls for 12" of snow and the temp next week is predicted at 0!
